Our junior high girls are looking for two more opportunities to play in July. Whether that be play days, round robins, and/or team camps. Please reach out if you are wanting to set something up!

We will be providing skills and live play for our 4-6th grade lady cougars this week on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00-12:00. Come by and get some work in! This will be open to the boys in this age group as well. Hope to see you there!

Junior high girls finished up NEA camp with a record of 5-1 beating Jonesboro, Valley View, Cross County, and Truman twice. Girls went 3-0 today so we celebrated with some ice cream on the way home. Very proud of how they played this week. Go cougars!

Got to play some great competition today at NEA Camp. Finished the day 2-1 beating two good teams Valley View and Truman and losing to a 5a West Memphis team. Got to see a lot of the things we need to work on for the future. Back at it with practice tomorrow and playing this Thursday!

First week of summer practice for the Junior High is in the books. Girls came in ready to work.

One of the best parts of this week was seeing just how much growth can happen in a short amount of time. At the beginning of the week, some of the girls didn’t even know what a 3-man weave was. By the end of the week, they were picking things up quickly, competing, and showing improvement every single day.

What impressed me the most was the culture they started to build. We talked from day one about doing the little things the right way — not walking anywhere, never quitting on a drill, and always giving your best effort. By the end of the week, I didn’t have to remind them not to walk anymore. And to cheer on their teammates when things went well or when they didn’t. It became understood. That kind of growth and accountability says a lot about this group.

Proud of the effort, attitude, and willingness to learn these girls showed this week. Excited to keep building this summer. Go Cougars!
