🚧 PROGRESS IN MOTION: PARKS & REC IMPROVEMENTS!
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at City of Rawlins Parks & Recreation, and we’re excited to share some of the improvements currently underway!
🏢 Rawlins Family Recreation Center
Work continues inside the Rec Center as we update and improve several areas of the facility. From carpet and interior improvements to cleaning, repairs, and refreshing spaces, our team is working to make the Rec Center a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming place for our community.
💧 Rawlins Cemetery Water System
We’re also making important upgrades at the cemetery. Our Parks team has been working underground on the irrigation system, replacing and improving valves and controls to make watering more reliable and efficient. These improvements will help us better manage water, maintain the cemetery grounds, and reduce the amount of manual work required to operate the system.
These projects may not always be flashy, but they’re exactly the kind of behind-the-scenes improvements that make a big difference in how our facilities operate and how well we can serve the community.
A huge thank you to our Parks & Recreation staff for putting in the work, whether it’s making repairs, digging trenches, fixing irrigation, maintaining facilities, or tackling the countless other jobs that happen every day.
We’re investing in what we have, taking care of our facilities, and continuing to move Rawlins Parks & Recreation forward, one project at a time.
