With classes starting on September 8th now is a perfect time to order what your dancer will need for class💗
To lessen the stress of finding the proper attire, I made an Amazon list with things your dancer will need. They do not need to be these exact products, these are just some recommendations🩰

Also, we do highly recommended a dance bag with hair supplies, theraband to stretch at home, pinky ball to roll out muscles, a notebook to write down their corrections and choreography from class, a water bottle, and girls on pointe need a mini sewing kit.

Meet our staff!🩰
With the Fall dance season approaching we thought we’d introduce our staff, sharing their dance experience and story💕
Introducing:
Sarah Brewer🩰
(Miss. Sarah)🫶

* Choreographer
* Owner & Director of County 6 Dance Academy

Miss. Sarah began dancing at the age of 6 and has trained extensively in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Acrobatics.

Education✏️:

Acrobatic Arts certified in Levels 1–6.

In 2022, Sarah attended Casper College as a dance major on scholarship, where she had the incredible opportunity to study under the guidance of the amazing Jodi Youmans-Jones. Alongside her dance education, Sarah also studied Psychology and Business.

In 2023, at just 18 years old, Sarah took over C6 Dance, becoming the owner and continuing her passion for providing quality dance training to young dancers.

Fun Facts 💜

* Sarah was once a County 6 dancer herself before taking over the studio!
* She has two horses, Gracie and Dolly.
* Outside of dance, her favorite thing to do is ride her horse, Dolly, and train her other horse, Gracie.
* She did cheerleading throughout high school.
* Her favorite role she has ever performed was Glinda in WonderOZ.
* Sarah began teaching dance at just 12 years old.
* She was a successful competitive dancer.

Sarah has had the opportunity to perform in numerous productions and showcases throughout her dance career, including:

* The Nutcracker — 8 productions
* Sleeping Beauty — 2 productions
* University of Wyoming’s SRSDF Showcase — 2 productions
* Casper College’s Cinderella
* Casper College’s WonderOZ
* Numerous additional showcases and performances

Throughout her career, Sarah has also had the opportunity to perform a variety of lead roles.

Sarah absolutely loves working with her students. Being able to share her passion for dance with dancers who have that same love and dedication is her greatest joy. 💕

Cathy Fairbanks🫶

Smile—it’s contagious!

As I entered high school, I wanted to try out for the football team, but my dad said, “Absolutely not.” Then I had a wild idea: if I joined the cheerleading squad, I could attend all the games for free. Although my dad was not thrilled, he reluctantly let me audition after refusing to let me play football. I made the squad and loved cheerleading far more than I expected, cheering throughout high school from 1992 to 1995. Because I attended a small school, I also joined the dance team. In 1994, I joined the color guard and learned to dance with a flag; the following year, I choreographed the team. That experience revealed a gift I never knew I had.

Throughout my childhood, my family attended an outdoor pageant in Nauvoo, Illinois, called “The City of Joseph.” After watching it every year, we joined the cast in 1989. I dreamed of becoming a dancer, and in 1994, I auditioned and earned a place on the dance team. The two-week experience was the hardest challenge I had faced, but it was also an exhilarating introduction to the world of dance that I will never forget. I danced with the team for two years.

2011–present: I assist with drama club performances at Saratoga Middle High School.
2019–present: I assist with County 6 Dance.

The best part of County 6 Dance is watching the girls work hard and grow—and being a dance mom!
