⚽ WE’RE HIRING SOCCER REFS!

The Rathdrum Parks and Recreation Department is hiring referees for our upcoming Youth Fall Soccer!
Fall Soccer kicks off on Saturday, September 12th, and we need referees to help make this season a success!

This is a fantastic opportunity for teens (ages 14+) and adults to earn money, support local youth, and stay active in our community!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
🔹 Ages: 14 and up

🔹 Schedule: Primarily Saturday games, with occasional weeknights

🔹 Training: Provided! We’ll host a training session before the season begins

City of Rathdrum Request for Public Input – Trossicks Park

The City of Rathdrum Parks & Recreation Department is applying for grant funding from the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation (IDPR) to support the development of the new Trossicks Park.

The City of Rathdrum is planning to submit one application through IDPR’s Land & Water Conservation Fund program in the amount of $976,500.00 to support the construction of park amenities such as parking lot & lighting, restrooms, walking paths, playground, picnic shelter, co****le and table tennis equipment, landscaping and tree plantings along with an irrigation system. The IDPR’s LWCF grant is a 50 percent match. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $1,953,000.00.

Trossicks Park is in the southeastern part of Rathdrum. It is located east of Meyer Road and north of Wyoming Ave.

If the City of Rathdrum is successful, implementation of the grant would begin in Spring 2027 and continue into the summer of 2027.

September Youth & Adult Paint Nights – Registration Is Now OPEN!
Spots fill fast for our popular Paint Night sessions!

Local artist Christina Hull will guide you step-by-step through creating your very own acrylic masterpiece in just two hours. All supplies are provided—just bring your creativity.

Space is limited to 14 participants per class (minimum 5 required), and each session features a brand-new featured design.

About the Instructor
"I have lived in beautiful Coeur d’Alene for the past twelve years. Beyond a handful of oil painting classes in high school, my work has been an organic, self-taught process. I love the instant gratification of acrylics—allowing the painting to take me where it may. While I paint everything from landscapes to children's art, my favorite subjects are birds, trees, and flowers." — Christina Hull
