It all happens so damn fast!!

One day youre pushing your babygirl in a swing or playing with them at the park and what seems like the next, youre dropping them off at College to start their freshman year.

Words cannot describe the emotions that are tied with this process.

Ive spent over half of my life as a parent and now both of my kiddos are adults and following their dreams. This is truly a blessing and proud does not do it justice when I try explaining how I feel right now.

Shelby Garten you will always be my Princess and I will always be your rock. Nothing will ever change that regardless of distance between us.

You were made for greatness and leaving home was inevitable in order for you to achieve what God has already planned. Im so very proud of you for accepting this challenge and not letting fear keep you from chasing your goals.

Personally, my biggest flex in life has been making sure you and your brother didnt go down the same path I did at your ages.
Watching you both graduate high school and then go off to college as a dad who never actually graduated highschool has been a work in progress since the day you both were born.
Cycles have been broken and future generations of our bloodline have been changed!!

Anything is possible through CHRIST who STRENGTHENS us!!

Forever my Princess Shelby!

18 years of memories can never fit into 20 pictures but the glimpse of our life together that these photos hold are a reminder of all of the time we got to spend together.

You are so full of light, love, compassion and happiness. You are the most commited and disciplined person that I have ever known and I am so grateful for the love and light that you have brought into my life.

I could spend the rest of my days chasing you around the country watching you chase your dreams and goals. You are truly a blessing to anyone who has the honor of calling you their friend.

Lift Heavy Things.

Set Goals.
Work Hard.
Trust the process.
Accomplish Goals.
Rinse and Repeat.

Lifting weights and staying strong and fit has more to do with life goals and moral standards than most people think.

When it comes to the barbell it only speaks truth. It never lies. It cant!

This is what's so great about the gym. You cant bu****it your way into a 500 # deadlift just like you cant bu****it your way into getting a Masters Degree in mathematics.

You have to earn every single pound on that bar. You have to sacrifice day after day, month after month and on and on stretching into years of your life.

There are no shortcuts into living a life that is truly filled with healthy strong habits that feed into everything and everyone around you.

At FAMILY F1RST FITNESS we are creating a space and culture where people push past the barriers that are holding them back and reach levels inside and outside of the gym that they never thought possible.

Its not about the barbell but at the same time its all about the barbell.

We Do Hard Things and we do it together. We are changing the game when it comes to Community Driven Fitness.

Blessed daily and always Grateful!

Jaymeson Garten and Shelby Garten I love you so much and Im honored to be your Dad. Through all the ups and downs, family always comes first.

You both are my "why" and the reason I strive to be a better man than I was the day before.

Ive never been the perfect parent or what society says I should be but who has time for all that anyways?

I love the Lord, I try my best and I know Gods plan for our lives will never fail.

This life we get to live is truly amazing and I am so happy that I get to spend everyday with you both by my side!!

What a life!!!!

God is so good and I am so grateful for every moment of life He blesses us with.

Hard Work Pays Off.

We are incredibly excited to announce that Shelby Garten has officially signed and committed to Bellevue University for the next 4 years to continue her academic and wrestling career.

We are so so proud of you babygirl. Your commitment, dedication and work ethic are unmatched.

Everything you have sacrificed and everything you have persevered through when most would have hung it up and walked away are some of the reasons why you have done things only a few have achieved.

What a blessing it is to chase your dreams and turn them all into a reality!!

I am very grateful for all of the people who have believed in this vision and have been a part of our growing community over the last year. Without you all none of this is even possible.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you for believing in me and this place we all now call our "home gym".

Thank you for being such an amazing blessing in my families lives.

Thank you for the energy and the life you bring into this space daily.
