Drew is a friend and an incredible guy. Please help in any way you can.
On Wednesday, April 29th, Drew Sandri, an RRC Tennis professional left his home to pick up his son, C**t, from school. Just thirty minutes later, he returned to find his house engulfed in flames, with fire trucks lining the street. In a moment of courage, Drew rushed inside to save his three beloved pets—a dog and two cats. Tragically, one pet did not survive, but the other two are now recovering.
Drew is always one to stop, sit down with a member and strike up a conversation, is always the life of the party at our social events and a genuinely good person.
The fire took everything from Drew and his son. They are facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch, needing support for temporary housing, replacing lost belongings, and caring for their pets.
Despite these hardships, I can assure you that Drew will continue to show up at the Raleigh Racquet Club every day with a smile, helping others learn and enjoy the game he loves so dearly. Drew and C**t are going through incredibly tough times, but their resilience and positive spirit inspire us all. Your support will make a real difference, helping them recover and rebuild.
