We’ve got a stacked weekend on deck! Saturday is full to the brim with games in Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh, but if you’re new to sandlot and/or not on a squad yet we’ve still got two chances for folks to join in on Open Sandlot. Reminder that Open Sandlot is open to anyone and everyone, just show up, ideally with a glove, and you’re in! If you’re curious about how to get on a team, the best way to do that is to show up to Open Sandlots consistently, get to know everyone, and be a positive contributor to the good vibes. Do that and typically a roster invite will follow. Flip this card over to see the details for this weekend, and don’t forget to celebrate the mothers in your lives on Sunday!

After an absolutely amazing time at the last weekend, we’re back to regularly scheduled programming and its Open Sandlot all around this weekend! Despite some potential rain, they’re gonna try to make it work on Saturday in Chapel Hill while Raleigh and Durham are going for it on Sunday.

For all the new folks, Open Sandlot means *anyone and everyone* can show up to play. You don’t have to be on a team, you don’t even have to have ever played baseball before, just bring a glove if you’ve got one, show up, and you’re in the lineup. All are welcome! Come be a part of the best thing happening in the triangle. Flip this of the card over for the details.

If you’re not familiar with Baseball Shuffle from local game maker .arcade, it’s a “dice flicking mashup of baseball and shuffleboard on a handcrafted ballpark” and it’s loads of fun! It takes no time at all to learn and you’ll have a hard time walking away once you start playing. We’ll have one of their first-off-the-production-line game tables set up on site at the Sandlot Revival for everyone to check out, and if you decide you just cant live without one of your own, we’ll have one in our raffle as well!

If you wanna get a better look at the game and how it’s played, go to their Instagram (.arcade). Thanks Dan and Unplugged Arcade for being a part of our event!
