Well it’s absurdly hot again and there might be some rain coming in, but you know we’re gonna play some ball if we can! We’ve got two chances for Open Sandlot and a game between Eno River Possums and Carrboro Freight Trains | Sandlot & Social Club going down. Open Sandlot means everyone and every body is invited to join, just show up with a glove and you’re in-that’s it. If you’re not into getting out on the diamond this weekend, go hang out with the Possums and the Freight Trains at their game, those folks are always a good time! It’s baseball time! We’ve got Open Sandlot in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill so there’s plenty of chances for every one and every body to join in! Just show up and you’re in! No experience or prior team affiliation necessary. Or if you feel like just hanging out, head to Crest St Park in Durham on Saturday for the Durham Dustup when the Durham Dirtbags take on the Eno River Possums! We’ve got Open Sandlot in Raleigh and Durham, and one the newest sandlot teams in the area, the Triangle Triceratops, is hosting a trio of games at the Historic Durham Athletic Park. We’ve got a whole bunch of games on deck this weekend and one chance for you all to get in on some Open Sandlot. As usual, Open Sandlot is open to everyone and every body-no experience or team affiliation necessary. Just show up (with a glove if you have one) and you’re in. Simple as that. If you’re not able to make it out to Chapel Hill for Open Sandlot this weekend, you can still be a part of the best thing happening in the triangle by just coming to hang out at one of our games!
