Hello! My name is Rachel Shearon and I have been dancing at City Ballet since 2016!

What makes City Ballet so special to you?
~ I have made such wonderful memories here during my many years and classes! I could not be more grateful for my teachers and the friends I have made! Dance will always be so special to me, thanks to City Ballet!

Any future plans?
~ I will be attending the University of South Carolina to study International Business! Go gamecocks!

Hi! I’m Ava Walker and i’ve been dancing at City Ballet since 2024!

What makes City Ballet so special to you?
~ City Ballet has helped me grow in ways I never expected. The support, encouragement, and passion from my teachers have pushed me to grow not only as a dancer, but as a person.

Any future plans?
~ Next year, l’ll be attending East Carolina University as a dance major to continue pursuing what I love.

We’re so excited to be doing this again this year during Theater Week!

Donate new or gently used shoes, leotards, skirts, and costumes.

is helping dancers in need by collecting donations for a scholarship, and we’re so happy to support this again!

Donation bins will be at the check-in station all week! Please consider bringing any old dancewear as the year comes to a close.

Hi, I’m Lillian Hogg and I’ve been dancing at City Ballet since 2019!

What makes City Ballet so special to you?
~ When I came to City Ballet, I immediately felt welcomed. Everyone has been so kind and supportive, and I’m honored to have been able to close out this chapter of my dance journey with such an amazing community!

Any future plans?
~ In the fall I will attend American University studying International Relations in the honors college.

~What makes City Ballet so special to you?
City Ballet is special to me because it has given me so many friendships! I have loved all of the support from teachers over the years and have loved to help with the younger dancers in classes.

After high school I plan to attend Wingate University and major in Pre Physical Therapy.

Hi! I’m Paige Crawley and I’ve been dancing at City Ballet since 2012!

~What makes City Ballet so special to you?
City Ballet is special to me because it is where I found some of my closest friendships. The people here have made everything so special and the support and encouragement from teachers has meant so much to me. I’m going to miss this community and I’ll always be grateful for everything it’s given me!

Hey! I’m Bennett Ange and I’ve danced at City Ballet since 2020!

~What makes City Ballet so special to you? From the start the City Ballet community was really welcoming and
supportive. I’ve never once felt like I had to compete with my classmates—it’s a place I can dance simply because I love it.

~Any future plans? In the fall I’ll be attending UNC Chapel Hill and I plan on majoring in Neuroscience!
