Senior Signoff: Gabby Manriquez
Gabby has been dancing for fourteen illustrious years, and will continue her dance journey with Charlotte Ballet as a Trainee! Gabby says her favorite memory was returning to her favorite performance venue, Fletcher theater, after COVID. She tells us it was "something about the dressing rooms and backstage memories, but it was truly special to come back and dance there again after such a hard year. All the memories at fletcher auditorium are my favorite! It felt like my home as much as the studio". In her own words, "one thing I will miss the most are all of my lovely friends! I will come visit them a lot, but it won't be the same as seeing them everyday for hours on end. I never get sick of them".
Gabby, your Raleigh Dance Theatre family is so lucky to have seen you grow into the person and dancer you are today, and we cannot wait to see all you accomplish as a trainee with Charlotte Ballet! 💗

Senior Signoff: Eliza May
Eliza has been dancing for 14 years, and her favorite memory from RDT was performing with her friends as a bull in the ballet Ferdinand the Bull. Eliza beautifully writes, "It was so fun being able to perform such a fun role with my best friends. I will never forget the memories, laughter, and jokes that we shared as bulls."
She also says "I will definitely miss my RDT family the most. All the friends that I have made here have truly changed my life and I will miss them everyday. From laughing at barre with them to taking our last bow together, all of you hold such a special place in my heart and I love every single one of you so much."
Eliza, your RDT family wishes you nothing but love as you build new memories in Chapel Hill, and we are confident you will continue to shine and brighten every room you walk into! 🐏

Senior Sign-off: Tova Feldman
For our first senior sign-off, we are celebrating Tova Feldman! Tova has been dancing for 14 years, and says her favorite RDT memories are during theater week.
"Performing onstage is my absolute favorite, and the company always becomes so close. I love warm-ups on stage, the m***e circle tradition before the curtain goes up, and all the celebrations after a good performance. I love spending time with the people at ballet. We all bond during long dress rehearsals and show days."
Furthermore, she says the thing she will miss most about RDT is the community. She tells us: "The people in RDT are truly my second family, and the studio is my second home. I will miss being with everyone, feeling that sense of belonging, and being able to mentor the younger dancers."
Tova, your RDT family will always cheer you on as you embark on your next chapter at Washington University in St. Louis in the college of arts and sciences. We cannot wait to see all you accomplish!!
