Bay Country Calls was founded by John Taylor, the current "World Goose Calling Champion of Champions". It wasn't until some time between 2002 and 2003 that John felt he was really onto something big with his own creation of the "Shore Thing" short reed Canada goose call. Never Settling for second best, John constantly made changes to make it better. After several years of research and development,

John is very please to finally introduce to the goose calling world the "Shore Thing". This truly is "the one call that does it all!" Whether you're in the field or on the stage, if you don't have a "Shore Thing", just hope your competition doesn't either! Focusing on Goose calls, Bay Country Calls has found the formula for success on the stage or in the field. Consistently placing or winning goose calling contests across the nation, we have already won 9 world titles. These include 3 World Championship, 2 junior world titles, 2 World live duck calling championships, World Team Goose calling Championship, and a Champion of Champions championship.

Vic was an absolute beast and one of the contenders in every contest! He was one of the first people Taylor met on stage and an inspiration into contest calling!

He absolutely changed the game with the Eastern Shoreman, with a completely new sound and technique. Sean made his impact on goose hunting and goose calling!
