Futsal/Indoor Soccer Tonight at the West Side Community Center, hosted by West Side Neighborhood Alliance 6:00 - 8:00 PM

If you have kids in the west side of Wicomico County come down tonight for some soccer fun. Ages 6-12(ish) welcome.

We're looking to put together teams for a league in September but you don't have to want to play in the league to show up and have some fun. Everyone is welcome.

This is a free event, no registration necessary. We are looking for volunteers for coaches or refs. Show up tonight to learn more on how you can make a difference in the lives of local kids.

West Side Neighborhood Alliance is thrilled to bring youth sports back to the West Side Community Center! Join WSNA starting May 7th for fun-filled Thursday nights playing Indoor Soccer (with a twist).

This is a free event focused on building teamwork, character, and soccer fundamentals in a positive environment. Whether your child is a budding athlete or just looking to burn off energy and make new friends, everyone is welcome!

When: Every Thursday | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Starts: May 7th

Where: West Side Community Center (Bivalve, MD)

Cost: Completely FREE!

Who: All youth up to age 12ish (No registration required—just show up!)

How it works:
Games and groupings will be organized based on the number of participants and age ranges who attend each week. We place a heavy emphasis on fun, sportsmanship, and learning the game.

Note: Older kids and teens are encouraged to join us as volunteers to help mentor our younger players! We'll have games for them from time to time as well.

Lessons learned on the field, like how to win and lose with grace and how to work as a team, last a lifetime. Come have a blast with us!

Every year Wicomico County hosts the “Good Sports Awards” ceremony at the Civic Center. They honor players and coaches from all of the organizations across the county. Players are nominated by all the league administrators, not just their own organizations, and award winners are selected for their contributions to the community as a whole. This year‘s WUSL Player of the Year is Hebron's Chloe Watson!

Chloe now plays for the Heat D5 Girls, but has been with Hebron Heat since it's inception. She is not only a fantastic player and teammate, but also a referee (and one of the first in our successful junior referee program). Congratulations Chloe! 🔥⚽️
