The Pueblo Spring Runoff

The Pueblo Spring Runoff Kick off the season with the Pueblo Spring Runoff. There is also a free race for kids called "Funner to be a Runner THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

This scenic race along the Arkansas River trail includes a 5k run/walk, 10k, & 10 mile run and finishes in Dutch Clark Stadium. The Spring Runoff is Pueblo's largest race attracting over 1000 runners throughout Colorado. The unique partnership between The Pueblo Chieftain and the Southern Colorado Runners Club has created 4 exciting races that challenge the early season fitness of all runners. The

race includes a 10 mile, 10k and 5k run as well as a 5K walk. Additionally, there is a free "Funner to be a runner" race for all children. The Spring Runoff symbolizes the local community's dedication to the health and fitness of Southern Colorado. Southern Colorado Runners Club donates part of the proceeds from The Pueblo Spring Runoff to our local Care and Share.

Our club, Southern Colorado Runners, partners with other nonprofits to operate the water stops during the Pueblo Spring Runoff.

Pueblo Boys and Girls Club under the direction of Nikki Timme operates the water stop near the 5K turn around.

Liberty Point International School under the direction of Carlos Salazar operates the water stop near the Runyon Lake Bridge.

Southern Colorado Trail Builders under the direction of Nicole Cummings and Melinda Tortessi operate the water stop at the 10K turn around.

The club donates $250.00 to each of their clubs but the workers are all volunteers. THANK YOU for helping us produce this great race.
