PSA: If you own or know anyone that owns a Rad e-bike, stop using it! Get rid of it or risk burning your house down. You must properly dispose of your bike and the defective battery.

A friend’s home nearly burned down in Springville yesterday. The battery was not installed in the bike and was not being charged. It burst into flames and started the garage on fire. 🔥 Thankfully an alert neighbor noticed the fire before the home was a total loss.

You pay more for a quality e-bike with a safe battery, but it’s worth it if you don’t end up replacing your burnt home. 😳

Incase you didn't know RAD Power Bikes has had recalls on their E-bike batteries. The company went bankrupt so they couldn't afford to recall and replace them. Please get rid of your RAD Power Bikes! So glad no one was harmed during this incident! They don't just burn 🔥 they explode! 💥
