In the west, we do not hold these creatures as sacred in general, but in India they roam the streets because you don't kill a sacred animal, despite the bad rap they have gotten from western mythology.

What's something you feel is sacred that others overlook?

Today marks three years since the Genocide began. This photograph was taken in the Muslim Quarter of Old Jerusalem, when I visited there in 1991.

To make sense on this day—which it never will—I’ve been identifying some ancient practices and traditions from my eastern European Jewish heritage to step out of ignorance and use this time to reflect and ground as an active prayer.

I’ve interpreted these practices as they connect to my own, so take what resonates…

Bitul /Shadowwork: Quietly stepping back my own ego, making real room for other people’s pain and stories knowing that through that, I’m also healing my ancestral trauma.

Practice: Listening for where I have dropped into an energy I have to survive through. Noticing where my programming to feel guilt and shame centers my ego. Learning how to process that in coherence with my life.

Did you know that since the advent of tiktok, as study has shown that from year one, users have used an average 338 less words than before their use of social media?

Creative medicine: schedule a time into your calendar each day just to sit some kind of art, whether it's music, writing, expressive, visual, or creating it or just doing nothing but noticing what's around you or what you feel without your device. All it takes is a few minutes today. Here are some moments...

🌀 The world we live in often has programming that takes us out of a space to identify what intuition is fear-based rather than Truth-based, separating us from our bodies which is our unique divining instrument. When we work through some of this in while setting our intentions on community, we learn about ourselves and also about how to be in community, not just what each of us looks like from the feeds, the povs and the stories.... Our wisdom integrates with our walk.

Explore the Akasha with me in a mini-session for clarity or awareness around something that’s important to you then create the light code that you can take with you to remember the intention you are generating for your life.
