The warning signs are up!!!! Two weeks to go!

As the Dutchess Rail Trail and Walkway Over The Hudson are part of the Empire State Trail, we want to give our friends plenty of notice that the Dutchess Rail Trail and Walkway Over the Hudson will be closed to all except our 1300+ runners on Sunday, September 20, 2026

We stole a post from our friends over at Eastern Dutchess Road Runners because they don't share 😁

Angels of Light has been a great friend and supporter of our running community over the years, including generously allowing us to use their Millbrook location for some of our group runs. ❤️

Last call for T-Shirts! If you are planning on running the Dutchess County Classic and want a t-shirt you must register by tomorrow (Monday, August 24th) night! If you register after Monday there is no guarantee that you will receive a t-shirt.

We are in need of volunteers for the Dutchess County Classic on Sept. 19th & 20th. We will need volunteers from before the Sun comes up until the last piece of trash is removed from the parking lot. Our Annual Summer BBQ is back! Friday, August 14th at Baird State Park. This is free to everyone! Just sign up so we know how much food to get.

We will have a Kids Fun Run and new for this year will be an Adult Scavenger Hunt Fun Run (with giveaways / prizes). Be sure to register!

The MHRRC Summer BBQ & Fun Run is on Friday August 14, 2026. It includes the following events: Kid's 1/2 mile Fun Run, Adult Scavenger Hunt Fun Run, and I Am Just Here to Eat & Drink With People in Short Shorts.
