As our Always An Amazon campaign comes to a close, we want to recognize how fortunate we are to be supported and powered by so many who have worn an Amazon jersey. Ula referred to our team as her Amazon ohana, and this month of connection with alumni has shown us how big our family really is.

Sam, Ula’s husband, made a very generous donation to help get this campaign over the finish line and to remind us of Ula’s spirit and love for this team. He said that Ula would say she was just spreading aloha, because it’s all about the love. We know it is about much more than that. Ula is always an Amazon and an irreplaceable, ever-present part of our team. Her memory pushes us to train harder, be kinder, and never take for granted the time we get to spend together on the water.

The secret to the Amazons is that we are always powered by an extra bench of supporters. For this (and every) race, Ula’s strength, positivity, determination, and heart pull us forward.

Thank you to everyone who donated, reached out to your former teammates, told stories, or simply reminded us that we are part of something bigger. We are incredibly lucky to have this force behind us. Let's Go!

As Kerri and Jenine head back to us, two more Amazons, Lisa Benaron and Tiffany Jacques are headed across the world to Taiwan to race in the IDBF Club Crew World Championships with the Rose City Rockets All-Cancer Team! Benny and Tiffany have spent the season training and racing with TWO teams and we are so amazed at their dedication to the sport and their teammates. Hope you both can hear us cheering for you! Go get some hardware! 🌹💜🚀
