Hey, it’s Coach Jen!

Coach Jen is excited to return for her third season! In her previous seasons, she’s enjoyed watching the girls’ confidence grow as they get ready to hit the floor for competition. She currently works as a 4th grade teacher for the Port Washington-Saukville School District. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and soaking up time in the sun.

Let’s give a big welcome to Coach Shandy!

In addition to 14 years of classical dance training, Coach Shandy spent 4 years on the PWHS Dance Team and another 4 years on the UW Stevens Point Dance Team, competing at the collegiate national level. Prior to moving back to Port, Coach Shandy was the head coach of a high school dance program for 5 years, and taught youth summer dance camps across Wisconsin. For the past several years Coach Shandy has been an active dance mom, supporting her two daughters through studio competitions and on the PWHS Dance Team. When not following dancers, Coach Shandy spends her time as the Director of Fraud Strategy for BMO Bank, managing teams across the U.S. and Canada and volunteering for the PWHS Athletic Booster Club. While this is her first official season coaching for PW Pirate, she has been a member of the board since its inception. Coach Shandy looks forward to setting a strong technical foundation with the Matey’s dancers, while having fun exploring all that dance has to offer.

Yay! It’s Coach Liz!

Coach Liz couldn’t be more excited for with Crew where she looks forward to continuing to inspire a love for dance in young dancers! With years of leadership and coaching experience, she is committed to creating a team culture centered around positivity, teamwork, and confidence.
Outside of dance, Coach Liz is preparing for her senior year at Concordia University Wisconsin, where she is dual majoring in Elementary Education and Cross-Categorical Special Education. She also works as a respite caretaker through Christian Servants Home Care, all while still making time for one of her favorite things, coffee walks!
Coach Liz can’t wait for another special year with PW Pirate Dance, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Heyyyy Coach Julia!

This is Coach Julia’s second year coaching PW Dance- Crew alongside Coach Liz, and she couldn’t be more excited! Last season, she loved watching the girls compete, learn, and grow—not only as beautiful dancers, but as wonderful individuals as well.
Julia currently works at Mindcolor Autism, where she provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys thrifting, exploring new places both locally and through travel, and spending time with friends and family.
She can’t wait for another amazing season of Pirate Dance. Let’s go Crew! 💚

Welcome back, Coach Lexi!

Stepping into with PW Pirate Dance Captains, Coach Lexi is excited to continue growing the program and creating a positive, hardworking environment for her dancers. With strong leadership experience and a passion for coaching, she strives to help every dancer build confidence, dedication, and teamwork both on and off the dance floor.

When she’s not at practice, Coach Lexi is completing her Mass Communication and Marketing degree at Concordia University Wisconsin and is set to graduate this December. This summer, she’ll also be studying abroad in London while continuing her role as a Content Writer for Baird Private Wealth Management in Milwaukee. Coach Lexi can’t wait for another unforgettable season full of growth, memories, and success with her Captains family. 💚🏴‍☠️

It’s time to meet our coaching team 💚

Let’s give a big welcome to Coach Abby! Coach Abby has been dancing for 6 years and is excited to share her passion, knowledge, and love for dance with the team this season. As this is her first year coaching, she’s especially looking forward to building connections with each dancer and helping everyone grow both on and off the dance floor. Outside of dance, Coach Abby works as a nanny during the summer and is entering her final semester at Concordia University Wisconsin where she is studying Early Childhood and Special Education. This fall, she’ll begin student teaching with plans to graduate in December! Coach Abby is ready for a season full of growth, hard work, positivity, and fun!
