Join us THIS SATURDAY at our CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park for our Monthly 3x600! Find more details below!

The October Mid-Range 3x600 Match is this Saturday, October 24th, from 9:30am-3pm at Talladega Marksmanship Park!

Three stages, all at 600 yards, with 20 shots each. Each stage gets a 25-minute block (3 minutes of prep plus 22 minutes of firing). You can fire unlimited sighters in Stage 1 and two sighters before Stages 2 and 3.

Payment is $30, taken day-of in the Clubhouse.

Shue Claims First President’s Win at 2026 CMP National Pistol Matches

Competitors delivered strong performances across a wide range of events at the 2026 National CMP Pistol Championships and National Trophy Pistol Matches, with official results highlight achievements from civilian and military competitors and developing junior athletes.

Jonathan Shue, 45, of Liberty, NC, claimed the Steve Reiter Trophy as the overall winner of the CMP Match Pistol 2700 Aggregate, posting a score of 1,365-61X. Shue also topped the High Master classification and won the President’s Pistol Match with a score of 380-13X.

Though Shue has won the National Matches’ prestigious National Trophy Individual (NTI) Pistol Match three times in the past, this was his first President’s Pistol title – coming as close as second place by just two points last year.

CMP’s Gary Anderson Invitational Returns Around the Country in November

This November, get ready for the CMP's annual Gary Anderson Invitational – a premier three-position junior air r***e competition for sporter and precision athletes of all experience levels!

The Gary Anderson Invitational is designed for schools, clubs and individuals to gain competition experience in a 3×20 course of fire – 20 shots at kneeling, prone and standing positions. Along with sporter and precision athletes, adaptive junior competitors are welcome to participate in this event.

Though traditionally held only at CMP’s Competition Centers, the inclusion of locations nationwide provides even more juniors interested in marksmanship competition the chance to take part in the match!

CMP M1903A3 Springfield Review: Return Of The King

We hit the range to check out the CMP’s M1903A3 Springfield expert reclaimed.

While we are no longer living in the golden age of military surplus, we are entering an era of rebirth and a desire to do right by these artifacts of a bygone era. As a broad category, the retro theme on new guns has evolved past a fad into a full-blown subset of the industry with a huge amount of effort being made to recreate faithful reproductions of some of our favorite historical guns.

They say legends never die, and in this case, the CMP has resurrected the M1903A3 Springfield in a very surprising way that combines historical parts with modern technology.
