We all know that most Moms are “cleared” at their 6-week checkup… but not actually guided through healing. I can’t tell you how many Moms tell me they feel lost when it comes to rebuilding after having a baby.

They end up dealing with things down the road like:

-urinary leakage
-back pain
-weak core strength
-pressure or heaviness
-feeling disconnected from their body
-low confidence

It’s SO much more than just “go back to what you were doing.” I know because I had to rebuild from ground zero myself.

Moms…stewarding our bodies goes WAY beyond appearance.

It’s about building strength for the life God has called us to, healing from the inside out, gaining confidence, and showing our babies what it looks like to care for the body we’ve been given.

This took me so long to realize, but once I was able to blend my fitness and faith together, I viewed myself in such a different light. And I want to help as many women as possible find that same peace with their bodies.

No one warns you how overwhelming it feels to return to fitness after baby.

Even if you’ve remained active through pregnancy, everyone’s birth story is different.

Unfortunately, being cleared at the 6-8 week postpartum checkup doesn’t ACTUALLY mean you should go back to the same movements you used to do.

My goal is to empower every woman to feel confident when returning to exercise after baby. That starts with proper education and personalized guidance…. Not a one-size fits all approach.

Imagine using being “tired” as an excuse and then complaining about how you look and feel…

Obviously in postpartum we need to rest and take it slow, and work with our hormones/lack of sleep! But at some point we have to stop blaming everything else when we really just need to make the time!

It doesn’t take hours at the gym to get into shape. Just intentional, postpartum-tailored exercises!

Postpartum Core ✨

Once you grasp the foundational movements (like learning to engage/“zip up” your core, grab a Pilates ball and try these out!

I do Pilates 2-3x per week in addition to weight lifting and it’s made such a difference in my posture and core strength!

My daughter is one of my biggest reasons to steward my body well.

Not because I’m chasing perfection, but because I want the strength and energy to fully live this life with her. I want to pick her up without pain, run and play beside her, be present for the little moments, and live a long healthy life watching her grow.

Some days motivation fades, progress feels slow, and motherhood feels exhausting… but giving up is not an option.
