Some things change. Some things never do. 🍓

For more than nine decades, generations have walked through our gates, creating memories that become traditions of their own.

The midway. The livestock shows. The music. The strawberry shortcake. The people you come with — and the people you meet along the way. The Florida Strawberry Festival continues to grow and evolve, but at its heart, so much of what makes it special remains the same.

Our 2027 theme, “A Timeless Tradition,” celebrates those familiar moments while taking a little inspiration from our past. This year’s artwork reimagines one of the Festival’s early Berry characters from the late 1970s — bringing a piece of Festival history forward with a fresh new personality.

Because the years may change, but the memories keep growing.

Here’s to the traditions that bring us back. 🍓

For some Hillsborough County families facing their hardest days, keeping a beloved pet can mean everything.

Community Pet Project helps people experiencing homelessness or extreme hardship keep their animals by providing food, emergency veterinary assistance, foster placement and hands-on support.

Since becoming a nonprofit, the organization has helped feed more than 11,000 animals and paid more than $50,000 in veterinary bills, all while showing what can happen when a community comes together for both people and their pets.

Meet the people behind this compassionate mission in the latest In The Field Magazine, available in print or online at inthefieldmagazine.com.
