Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we have a special guest joining us tomorrow night during our 13 and up Adult Karate class!

Dr. Shaelier Santiago from Shea Chiropractic here in Plant City will be stopping by at 7:45 PM to give a short 15–20 minute presentation for our adult students.

He’ll be sharing information related to chiropractic care, mobility, injury prevention, and keeping your body performing at its best! That is something that can be especially helpful for those of us training in martial arts.

I’m excited to continue partnering with other local Plant City businesses and bring some additional value to our students.

If you’re available, come join us tomorrow at 7:45 PM, even if you weren’t originally planning to train. Parents are welcome too! I’d love to have a good turnout and give Dr. Shea a warm CWKC welcome!

Shout out to John’s Junk Removal! 💪 813-392-8884
I had John and his crew come out this morning to help me clean out our upstairs storage area, and they did a great job.
If you’ve got stuff piling up and just don’t have the time or energy to tackle it, give John a call. He’s a young guy working hard to get his business going, and I’m always happy to support someone who shows up ready to work.
Everyone was on time, respectful, and had some serious hustle! 💪

Chris Welbon Karate Clubs has been part of the Plant City community for nearly 30 years, and we’d love to connect with other local businesses for some simple, mutually beneficial partnerships.

We’re interested in things like:

• Providing free karate guest passes or special offers for your customers or employees

"AFTER-SCHOOL KARATE" Our experienced staff pick your child up from their local school and bring them to our main location for a fun and structured after-school program. 2:30 until 6:00pm and will include fun, games, crafts/projects and karate class. Snack and homework time are provided. FREE Day Camp days are included for all A.S.K. members during all teacher work days and most holidays.

Good news! We do accept drop off students for any parent who does not need pick-up.

We will pick up from these Plant City area elementary schools:
Walden Lake, Cork, Knights, Advantage Academy, Bryan, Plant City Christian Academy & Lincoln

You don’t have to be good at karate to start karate.

In fact, you’re supposed to be a beginner.

One of the biggest things that keeps people from trying martial arts isn’t lack of interest—it’s the fear of looking awkward, making mistakes, or being embarrassed because they don’t know what they’re doing.

But nobody walks into their first karate class already knowing karate.

Confidence comes after you begin.
Skill comes after you practice.
And improvement comes from showing up even when something feels difficult.

The people who become good at karate aren’t necessarily the ones who started with the most talent. They’re often the ones who were willing to be uncomfortable long enough to get better.

So if you’ve been thinking about trying karate but keep telling yourself, “I wouldn’t be any good at it…”

That’s okay.
