Some days 100% looks like crushing a PR.
Some days it looks like just showing up.

Either way, we meet you there.

Our job isn’t to judge where you’re at the day, it’s to support you through it, push when needed, and spot you when the weight feels heavy both physically and mentally.

Did you get into a fight with an octopus? No silly, it’s called cupping.

What can CUPPING THERAPY do for you…

Pain Relief and Reduced Muscle Tension: it acts as a deep tissue massage.

Increased Blood Circulation: Enhanced blood flow supplies oxygen and nutrients to tissues, stimulating healing and decreasing inflammation.

Faster Muscle Recovery: Athletes often use it to reduce muscle soreness and release tension in fascia.
Improved Range of Motion: It aids in relaxing tight muscles and improving flexibility.

Detoxification: By increasing blood flow and lymphatic drainage, it helps remove metabolic waste

How do the “CUPS” work?

After a great weekend of a lot of knowledge and a lot of reps, we’d like to give a big thank you to the Wildman Athletica team and Hephaestus Athletica team for coming back to the Burgh and delivering another high-level workshop.

Respect to everyone who made the trip, near or far, and showed up ready to work.

And to the LEG1ON team for setting the tone all weekend.

We should all squat more!!! And for the record, squats aren’t the reason why your back hurts.

Front loading weight, in this example a goblet squat, is beneficial for protecting your spine due to encouraging safer positioning of weight and better muscle engagement.

Decrease spinal compression, increase core engagement, promote upright torso, and distribute the load more safely.

This exercise is a great option for both performance and injury prevention.

Scraping stimulates blood flow to injured areas, which can promote healing.

The pressure of scraping may help remodel or realign scar tissue that restricts motion in turn helping with mobility. This technique may also influence how the nervous system perceives pain, sometimes reducing sensitivity in sore muscles.
