The weekly Son class will take a special topic this week, the much requested Tornillo figures that are popular in both Cuba and Angola. The class will have a warmup to prepare your body and then several tornillos for both leaders and followers based on your mobility. Not all of them have to go all the way down! And when it is done right, it should feel nearly effortless for both parties.

We will also cover how to make sure you respect the amount of space available on the dance floor and choose an appropriately sized tornillo shape.

Prior Son or Kizomba experience recommended.

Learn to feel the cadence, not the counts.

The 7:30 class is designed for people who already have some experience with Casino, Kizomba, Bachata, or similar experience.

Beginner Son will be at 8:30 followed by Beginner Rueda at 9:00, and the social starts at 9:30.
