AGS specializes in personalized Fly Fishing & Upland Bird Hunting Adventures in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain Valley. Skill instruction is available, including programs for youth and women. Hunt successional growth covers containing aspen, oak, hickory and beech along with apple, cherry, dogwood, sundry berries and plenty of young conifers for security. Covers right out of

Spiller's "Grouse Feathers" and Harnden Foster's "New England Grouse Shooting". Scenery reminiscent of a Schaldach print or a Lynn Bogue Hunt sketch. It all comes together with great habitat and beautiful scenery in the Lake Champlain Valley. A great bird dog is the ultimate complement to your upland hunting forays. OJ answers, "A great bird dog is a dog with the desire and ability to please his master - a partnership to be shared not only in the woods and fields, but in the home as well. A true hunting companion and a family member". Fly Fishing outings are geared to all skill levels - beginner to expert. Fly Fishing Instruction. Special "Instructional Outings" are available. These full day outings begin with informal classroom instruction followed by on-water casting instruction and practice, followed by fishing. All equipment (excluding waders) is provided as needed, including a Fly Fishing instruction book, which is yours to keep. Instruction will cover: Equipment, Knots, Casting, Habitat, Fly Fishing techniques and more. Fly Fishing is easy to learn, fun, challenging and addictive.

Zeke is 4 months old. Yeah! He just got his last shot....rabies. He's growing steadily...eating more and more (up to three feedings...total almost two cups per day). Now 22 lbs.....will probably top out at 35+/- lbs. Zeke is a birder. Watches every bird. Even buzzards and hawks circling high up. Monday I start formal training starting with Heel!... followed by Whoa!....then Two Toot direction training. I'll also take him to hike and work on his keeping track of me (developing his need to come around from casts every now and then to make sure I'm still with him). He's smart, we are blessed to have him. (Reminds me of my boy Zeke I.

So, I started out with Brittanys 37 years ago. Had two wonderful doggies....Josey and her son, Zeke. I then moved to Llewellin Setters and created so many memories, continuing these days with Zez (9) & Zander (2.5). But, it's time to complete the circle. Meet our new Brittany pup, Zeke II. The legacy continues on.
