I know that I’m old, and pretty much set in my ways, but I also I know what I like.

But some of the things I like are getting harder to find.

Like these old school grips.

Yeah they are bigger around than the popular grips of today, but that makes them easier for my old arthritic hands to hold on to.

First time the bike or me had been on a racetrack in many years.

Thanks, once again, to Mohave Valley Raceway for their hospitality last Saturday in hosting AZ Flattrack Racing at their track.

Playing with Muse to modify things can be fun when I get bored.

When I got 7F from the AMA Smitty’s H-D in Moundsville, W.Va. bought me a set of professionally made number plates.
But those were the only professional ones that I ever had.

Due to a tight racing budget,
I always resorted to making my own number plates.

I’ll get some black vinyl tomorrow and hand cut my numbers like I did in the 70’s.

Looks like I’m going to have to invest in a selection of pilot and main jets just for the XR.

Not enough time to get them before Mohave this Saturday,
so I hope it runs at least well enough to get in a couple of parade laps during intermission.
