I didn’t walk away because the offers weren’t good… they REALLY were.😅
I walked away because they didn’t align with who I’ve already proven myself to be.

I’ve built my own income from scratch…over $1M through digital products, real estate, and content. I’ve grown audiences to 200k+, created systems that generate revenue, and operated like an owner long before anyone gave me a title.

So when I got those 6-figure offers… it felt like I was being hired to execute. not to build.

What I actually wanted was:
• A seat at the table
• Direct access to founders
• Ownership in outcomes, not just tasks
• Speed, pressure, and real leverage

When .bens called me to help build Seek Jesus as a second founding hire on a 7fig apparel brand, that matched my trajectory way more than any “secure” role could.

I didn’t need another job.
I needed a bigger arena.

So I chose:
Leverage > salary
Equity > title
Mission > comfort

Because at this stage, I’m not trying to fit into someone else’s company.
I’m trying to help build one that matters and could truly truly impact millions and change history in the retail space.

So I started filming with meta ray bans. They’re so expensive but I love them. Downside is the $600 price tag and that it last for 4 hours not the 8 hours advertised. Boooooooo

the most terrifying thing wasn’t walking away from the money. it was not knowing who I was without it. for 2 years I had no title, no income, no audience. and I had to sit with that. turns out the person underneath all of it was someone worth knowing.

Not knowing what to do with your life doesn’t mean you’re behind, it means you’re becoming someone new.

Side note: filming this made me realize how normal it is to feel lost in your 20s and early 30s. Everyone looks “put together” online… but nobody posts the in-between part.

You’re searching for the one.

That makes you look forward to waking up.

we stopped treating our careers like relationships

We give away 8 hours a day,
40 hours a week,

No one talks about this enough.
That it’s okay to start over.📖
