2025 LA Tech RFC Beach Trip - DAY 2

After sleeping off the long day of travel, the Maulin’ Dawgs hit up the beach at Fort Pickens National Park. Braving rough seas and a swarm of jellyfish, the dawgs soaked up the sun and the sea, before headed back for a night of karaoke at the AirBnB.

Yesterday the Maulin’ Dawgs made the journey down to Pensacola, Florida for some sunshine and sand. Driving in from Ruston, New Orleans, and even Arkansas, we got into town right as the sun was setting, managing to snag our first view of the gulf on this trip.

LA Tech Rugby will be hosting its annual alumni match! Kickoff at 1pm with food being served after! Bring a chair to Cottingham Field to see the best go up against the best!

The Maulin' Dawgs are going to Prison City in Huntsville, TX to compete in Sam Houston's Prison City 7s Tournament! Come out and support the team! More info to come.

LA Tech Rugby went on the road last weekend to compete in the Goodell Cup in New Orleans. We fought hard and secured 5th place overall, and finally broke our loosing streak. The Maulin Dawgs are only getting better as we prepare for the Prison City 7s Tournament hosted by Sam Houston (more information coming soon!).
