What an incredible turnout! 100 volunteers came down, rolled up their sleeves, and helped us get our fields back in order! We had representation from our youth, parents, coaches, Pendleton Nightmares - Alliance League Softball, and Indiana Arabians Baseball & Softball 🙌💪

We are so close to getting a majority of our fields back up and running!

We are truly blown away by the support, hard work, and community spirit everyone brought with them. From the big jobs to the little ones, every helping hand made a HUGE difference.

It’s not every day you see 100 people come together to give their time and energy to help make something better. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

We have officially gotten a reschedule date in place! Next Tuesday August 25th starting at 5:30! We will have a sign up table when you arrive to assign tasks! We thank you all for your support! We look forward to seeing you there!

With the rain the happened today and another flash flood warning in effect until 10am. The fields are simply still too wet and we do not want to cause more damage!

We have appreciated everyone's support so far and will be in contact as soon as it is safe and dry enough to be out there!

Come join us starting Sunday at 1pm EST for the start of cleaning up the sports complex!

While we aren’t ready to work on the fields themselves as we wait to hear from insurance, there is still plenty to do to help get the rest of the complex cleaned up!

EDIT: POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER AND CURRENT FIELD CONDITIONS!

There is trash cans and trash to be picked up, banners to be rehung, debris to be picked up, and dugouts and storage rooms to be pressure washed!

Come help us get the fields back to normal!

If you have these items and able to donate your time we could use them!

2-3 pressure washers
Rakes
Shovels
Wheelbarrows

First off, we are incredibly proud of all the support we have seen with this Pendleton Community!

Secondly, we have finally gotten to take a look at our fields now that the river has receded. We have unfortunately lost Field 5 for the Fall season, but we are thankful that fields 1, 2, and 3 should be back playable with some work while we await on insurance.

For the fall season, it is going to take us a couple weeks to get the fields back to playable, so we have made a decision to cut the season in half and go from 8 weeks of games to 4 weeks. Games will begin after Labor Day with Softball having games Sept 11, 18, and 25 and Oct 2nd. Baseball will be Sept 13, 20, 27, and October 4th.

All fields will remain closed until we make an announcement. Off-site practices can continue as normal.

We will be offering a 50% refund on registration. If you decide you would like to opt of refund, feel out this form: https://forms.gle/B8yBMnS1z3UPdCRk9 . Non-refunded money will go towards helping with repairs and field support.

We will also need many volunteers over the next few weeks to assist with cleanup and field work. All games and practices for the fall season are suspended until further notice! Fields 1,2,3 and 5 are completely under water! Once the water subsides, we will evaluate the fields and proceed accordingly! We will likely need many volunteers once this subsides!

Our thoughts and prayers to those that are directly affected by the floods!
