⛳ You’ve probably seen a new face around Sunset Hills the last couple weeks! We’d like to officially welcome our new Turf Manager, **Alan (James) Hosbrough**! 👏

Alan grew up in Forest City, Illinois and graduated from Forman High School in 1988. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1989–2009 🇺🇸 before continuing his education at ICC and St. Francis School of Nursing, graduating in 2015.

Most recently, he worked at Weaver Ridge Golf Club from 2021–2026 and now brings his experience, leadership, and work ethic to Sunset Hills!

Be sure to say hello if you see him out on the course — and thank you, Alan and team, for already working hard to get Sunset Hills looking great after the drought we had last year!⛳

⛳🇺🇸 Thank you to everyone who came out and played in our Memorial Day Tournament today at Sunset Hills Golf Course!

Congratulations to **Mason Minkel & Tyler Filarski** on winning the championship 🏆👏

A huge thank you as well to our amazing tournament committee—**Tom, Austin, and Tim**—for yet another outstanding tournament. Your hard work and dedication help make days like today so special 💚

Today was about more than golf—it was about friendship, memories, and honoring those who mean so much to our Sunset Hills family.

To close out the tournament, we raised a toast with Phil Moss’s favorite beer in remembrance of a man who loved this course, this game, and the people here so deeply 💚🍻
