That’s not luck… that’s WORK.
That’s consistency. That’s buying in. That’s development.

It’s Only the Beginning.

Proud of my guy Grayson Bean as he took his first college visit today to Holmes Community College. The recruiting journey has officially started.

And the numbers are speaking loud.

⚾ #7 in the state in strikeouts
⚾ 44 Ks in just 21 innings
⚾ Only 9 walks
⚾ Topping out at 88 mph

The work we’ve been putting in is showing up when the lights come on. This is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

But the most exciting part?

We’re just getting started. He’s just a junior in high school.

The standard is high. The ceiling is higher.

Always Pitch. Always work. Always believe. šŸ”„āš¾

My guy Bean back at it again for his 2nd start of the season. Junior year loading… and he’s setting the tone early.

šŸ“Š Line:
7 IP
14 Ks
2 BB
2 H
1 ER

Sitting 84–87 AGAIN.

That’s not luck. That’s preparation. That’s work. That’s consistency.

We’ve been building. Not chasing velo — building a complete pitcher. Command. Presence. Compete level. And when you can punch out 14 in 7 innings? That speaks loud.

Junior year just getting started… and he’s climbing. šŸ“ˆ

The standard stays the standard.

Adversity will either break you… or make you. āš¾šŸ§”šŸ–¤

Game 1 – 9-3 L
Our starter didn’t have his best stuff, but he was competing mentally. 3 walks, some timely hits allowed, and we found ourselves down 5 early. The boys answered with 3 runs to fight back. After two quick outs in a later inning, we lost focus and it snowballed — final 9-3.

We had 6 hits but didn’t capitalize. Defensively, 5 errors hurt us. Bright spot — our reliever came in and gave us 3.1 strong innings with just 1 walk, keeping us in it.

Game 2 – 12-5 W
Different response. Same early adversity.

Starter battled again but walked 5 with 1 HBP. They jumped out 5-0. Relief pitcher entered with bases loaded, 0 outs in the 1st — big moment. He settled it down.

Then the bats woke up.
We answered with 9 runs.
Came back out — 3 up, 3 down.
Added 3 more.

Final: 12-5.
And this time? 0 errors.

Reminder: We were down early in BOTH games by the same score. The difference? We cleaned up the mistakes and competed through it.

That’s growth.
That’s learning.
That’s responding to adversity.

You either learn from it… or you repeat it.

Bracket play tomorrow at 9AM.

New school. Same standard. Same work. šŸ”„āš¾ļø

Me & Grayson have been working together for 2 years, and even with the transition to a new school, the mission hasn’t changed. Before his first start, we locked in on getting deeper into his backside and staying grounded through his lower half — emphasizing pinching the back hip down & back so his body can move with power and control.

Was it perfect? No.
59% strikes. 3 walks.

And that’s exactly why we work. The standard is already set. First start at a new school, new environment, new pressure — the jitters are gone now. It’s only up from here. šŸ“ˆ

Proud of you, G. But those 30 burpees still waiting on you šŸ˜‚

If you want real development — not shortcuts — but building pitchers the right way from the ground up, let’s work.

Since August, Carter has been putting in real work with me. At just 10 years old, he already throws harder than most kids his age—but early on, he was all arm with very little lower half involved.

So we slowed everything down.

Before velocity… comes movement.
Before power… comes control.
Before progression… comes mastery.

We focused on making Carter more athletic first—teaching him how to move, how to load into his backside, and how to use the ground. Now he’s consistently getting into his legs and building his delivery the right way. Once he earned that, we introduced the coil—helping him understand how to store energy and deliver it efficiently down the mound.

Now he’s no longer just throwing with his arm… he’s pitching with his whole body.

This is how you build pitchers that last. This is how you build futures.

The future is bright for Carter. And we’re just getting started.

Spring Break is an opportunity… not a break from the work, but a chance to separate yourself.

Coach Brice (Always Pitch) is proud to officially partner with BPI to bring a 3-Day Pitching & Hitting Clinic designed to build complete ballplayers from the ground up. This isn’t daycare — this is development.

For 3 straight days, 3 hours per day, players will get consistent, high-level instruction focused on:
⚾ Pitching mechanics & arm care
⚾ Hitting fundamentals & power development
⚾ Body control, sequencing & efficiency
⚾ Building confidence, discipline, and baseball IQ

This clinic is about creating habits that translate into real game success — not just now, but long-term.

If your player is serious about improving, this is where the work begins.

Spots are limited. Let’s use Spring Break to build Spring Season success.

Always Pitch. Always Work. Always Develop.

02/12/2026

At Always Pitch, we’re not chasing quick results — we’re building durable arms, efficient bodies, and confident pitchers who know exactly who they are when they step on the mound. Every drill has purpose. Every rep builds the foundation. Every adjustment moves them closer to becoming complete pitchers.

When the lights come on and the season starts, it’s not hope… it’s preparation showing up.

The ones who separate themselves aren’t the ones who wait for the season. They’re the ones who build in the offseason.

Shoutout to all of high school guys that’s starting their season this week.

No shortcuts. No rush. Just work. āš¾ļø

These 5 have trusted the process for over two years, laying a strong foundation and refining their mechanics the right way. We’re not finished—but watching their growth year after year is exactly why I do this.

šŸ“ˆ Invest in development that lasts.
