Adam Smith, Senior Director of Competitions, catches up with the 2026 Mississippi Amateur Champion, Brett Patterson, presented by Mississippi Sports Medicine. Brett shares how meaningful this victory was to him and reflects on the emotions of walking down the 18th hole knowing he was about to be crowned this year's champion.

This championship win also earned Brett an exemption into the prestigious U.S. Amateur Championship in August at Marion Golf Club. Congratulations again on an outstanding achievement!
