🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ LET’S GO, EAGLES! ST. JOHN’S CROSS COUNTRY IS BACK! 🦅💙

Calling all boys and girls in Grades 5–8 — it’s time to run, compete, build confidence, and be part of something great with St. John’s Cross Country!

📅 Practice begins Thursday, September 10 at 3:00 PM
The team will practice daily after school. Students will change right after school, meet in the library, and walk together to Emerson Park with Coach Eric Wade. Pickup will be at Emerson Park at 4:30 PM each day.

💵 Registration Fee: $175
All fees will be charged to family FACTS accounts and include league fees, park permit, uniform, and the end-of-season student banquet.

⏰ SIGN-UP DEADLINE: September 16, 2026

Whether you’re an experienced runner or looking to try something new, this is your chance to challenge yourself, make friends, represent St. John’s, and have an awesome season.

Hey SJS Hoopers! With summer coming to an end and start of the school year just around the corner, we're putting together a one day camp for anyone at St. John's that plans on trying out for the team this year.

The day will be led by our Boys & Girls Varsity Coaches and our Boys JV coach. We'll work on some skills, play some games, and have fun all while learning what SJS Basketball Culture is all about.

Sunday, 8/23 from 1:00 to 3:30pm
Open to all 5th grade to 8th grade boys and girls

Great way to end the school year for SJS basketball last night. We had our varsity boys vs. the varsity girls and then our varsity boys played our boys alumni. We had players from the class of 2022, 2023, and 2024. Always great to see our basketball family back in the gym. Was a great night and a lot of fun.

Our sports celebration will be next Thursday, May 7th at 6:30pm in the St. John's Gym. We'll be celebrating and giving awards to our cross country and basketball teams. We'll have pizza, chicken fingers, dessert, and more. Cost is $20 per person and will be charged to your school FACTS account. Players and coaches attend for free. Congratulations to our Boys Varsity team for winning its FOURTH straight NSCESBL Championship. Nick Picariello put on his Superman cape and led the team with 48 points to secure a come from behind two point win. Hats off to Our Lady of the Assumption School - Lynnfield, Massachusetts. They’re a great team!!

Off to the RCAB State Tournament next weekend!!

Also, congratulations to our Girls Varsity and Boys Junior Varsity teams who fought hard today and represented SJS to the fullest! Girls Varsity will also goto the State Tournament next weekend.
