The CrossFit methodology combines functional movements in Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, running and rowing while constantly varying intensity and workload. There are loaded barbells to pick up, boxes to jump on and sandbags to move. All movements are functional and replicate the patterns most used in everyday life. The athletes at 1Force do some pretty fun stuff. They run, climb

ropes, flip tires, swing kettlebells and push heavy stuff for short distances. They hurl medicine balls in the air and wear weight vests while performing physical tasks. They safely put weight overhead and aggressively pull it off the floor. The 1Force Coaching staff is committed to each member’s fitness and wellness goals, and the program includes nutritional and lifestyle support. Everyday is different, but 1thing remains the same. It is ALWAYS FUN. All 1Force training is done as a group. Each workout is scaled to athlete’s individual ability. The elite athlete can be working out next to the mother-to-be. Classes are just 1hour, and most include a warm up, a strength portion and metabolic conditioning, followed with a dynamic stretch to complete the session. Each athlete is guided and coached every step of the way. No one is ever left behind. If you want to be stronger, fitter and faster, CrossFit 1Force is for you. We could tell you more—but we’d rather show you. YOUR FIRST CLASS IS ALWAYS FREE. The only requirement is that you come ready to DO WORK.

As we get ready to take on Murph tomorrow, we’re looking back at the West Deptford Storm boys taking on Murph themselves at CrossFit 1 Force.

These kids showed up, worked hard, and got a small taste of what Murph is all about: effort, grit, teamwork, and doing something bigger than yourself.

Proud of this group for stepping into the gym and getting after it.

🔥Member of the Month goes out to an OG 🔥

There’s an extremely short list of people who have put more sweat down on these mats than Erik. He’s a shinning example of what it is to be a member here at 1 Force. Ready to throw down on any workout, fist bump to every athlete post WOD, cooler of beer brought to every CrossFit Open Friday Night Lights, and welcoming of every person who walks through the doors.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 13 years now, and the mix of strength and cardio plus functional fitness keeps me coming back.

The CF family is the best. I’ve met so many members past and current who I call friends. The programming changes each day and it doesn’t get boring. I look forward to the 1 hr sweat fest with them. The group setting pushes me to do my best.

Training matters for young athletes. It helps them get stronger, move better, build confidence, and prepare for the demands of their sport. It also gives them a chance to work hard, stay consistent, and learn how to push themselves in a positive environment.

We’ve really enjoyed having West Deptford’s 13–14 boys baseball team in at CrossFit 1Force. They’ve brought great energy, worked hard, and taken the training seriously. We’re glad we could be a small part of helping them get ready for the season.

The 2026 Open has come and gone. We’d like to highlight our athletes showing up and putting their fitness to test. 26.1 was a grind, pairing wall balls with box work. But more than anything 26.1 was about the firsts: first open workout ever, first time RXing a workout, first time hitting the pain cave.

Rachel is a 10 year CrossFit Veteran and a badass mom-to-be who has focused on maintaining her fitness to the highest level possible throughout her pregnancy (and succeeding!). She has been a rock at our 12pm classes and demonstrates on a daily basis what dedication truly looks like.

We asked Rachel for a little advice for anyone who might be planning for parenthood and wondering how they’ll fit in working out: “We are asking our bodies to grow a whole human so I learned to give myself grace and really listen to my body when something didn’t feel right. CrossFit is infinitely scalable so there is always an alternative option when it comes to moving safely. Be mindful, but don’t listen to the old ladies who tell you that you should be sitting on the coach your whole pregnancy!”

If you have a passion for CrossFit and a desire to help people achieve their goals we want to talk to you!

Experience/Pre-Requisites
- 2 or more years CrossFit experience
- Current CrossFit L1 or higher*
- 50 or more Coaching Hours*
- Ability to Coach 5 to 10 hours a month, early morning and/or evenings, occasional weekends
- Passion to teach others!

*Additional certifications will enhance candidacy but are not required. If you do not have a current CrossFit L1 but are signed up to acquire it, you may still apply. Previous coaching experience is ideal but not required, this is a great position for someone looking to start their coaching journey, training will be provided. We are looking to add multiple coaches*
