Did you know Father’s Day was founded at the YMCA? In 1910, Sonora Smart Dodd held the very first Father’s Day celebration at the Spokane YMCA to honor her dad - a single father who raised six children. Her love for her father sparked a national tradition that we still celebrate today! Today, we continue to celebrate and support fathers, father figures and families of all kinds - building strong communities together. , from our Y family to yours!

Today was our Camp Rally! All our YMCA of Long Island Summer Day Camp teams came together for a day of training, networking and fun! Special thanks to all our camp teams for joining. Patchogue Family YMCA Piranha's Swim Clinics-Stages 4+ (6-14 YEARS).

This program is for beginner-intermediate swimmers. This coached workout will help build strength, speed, and endurance to complement one's stroke technique. Swimmers will build technique in their starts, turns, and finishes. This is a great program to get swimmers ready for competitive teams, to meet new people, and to greatly enhance their swimming ability.
