Such a great victory to kick off the Chesney era!

Congrats to UCLA Football on beating the Bears last night. Bruin fans we can’t wait to see you at the Rose Bowl on Saturday!

Football season is finally here! Tonight the Bruins battle the Cal Bears in our season opener, and we couldn’t be more excited to be in Berkeley to cheer them on!

Kickoff is at 7:30 pm at California Memorial Stadium. For all the Bruins coming to the Bay for the game, we can’t wait to see you!

A sophomore from Palm Springs, Skye is the newest member of our Dance Team. In Skye’s words, “I am most excited to experience the energy and tradition of UCLA in such a special way. Being part of the Spirit Squad has been a goal of mine, and I can’t wait to perform at games, connect with the UCLA community, and be surrounded by people who share a passion for both dance and academics.” Fun fact about Skye – she’s Pilates certified!

A sophomore from San Francisco, Maya is the newest member of our Squad. For Maya, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to watch games from a new perspective! UCLA has given me the best home I could ask for, so I’m overjoyed to get to share my love with the rest of the field and court!” Fun fact about Maya — she met Steph Curry at a coding event in elementary school!

A sophomore from Los Angeles, Christian is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. For Christian, “I’m super excited to be on the sidelines cheering on our UCLA athletes! I love all things sports, so finding ways to be involved in them and in school spirit activities is something I’m so grateful for.” Fun fact about Christian – he has a twin sister!

A freshman from Orange County, Megan is the newest member of our Dance Team. In Megan’s words, “I’m beyond excited to pursue my love for dance with such a wonderful community. My teammates are not only the most incredible dancers, but also the sweetest people. It’ll be so fun dancing beside them at the Rose Bowl and Pauley Pavilion, and I’m ready to represent!” Fun fact about Megan – she’s the middle of 3 sisters!

A sophomore from Sacramento, Copeland is the newest member of our Squad. In her words, “I cannot wait to help cheer on our Bruins and get the crowd involved. I didn’t go to as many games my freshman year as I would have liked, which makes me extra excited to contribute to this year’s Athletics!” Fun fact about Copeland – she was a member of Company at Spring Sing last year!

A junior from Santa Clarita, Taylor is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. For Taylor, “I’m excited to cheer alongside the best teammates at the Rose Bowl and Pauley. I grew up going to UCLA games and activities so being able to show my love for this school on this team is an absolute dream come true.” Fun facts about Taylor – she can play seven instruments, and she studied abroad in Australia this summer!
