Some fun in the sun today! Appreciate all the parents that brought your kiddos to our DNG end of summer / beginning of school year get together! We appreciate all of you for continuing to allow us to coach and train your kids! Glad everyone enjoyed themselves! Thank you to our Coaches for helping out and continuing to help out throughout the year! BIG SHOUT OUT Jesse and Kim from KIMZ rentals for providing the WaterSlide, Tables /chairs and the tent and allowing us to use your backyard! If you need Waterslides / bounce houses, tables and chairs reach out to them! I know tomorrow is a holiday but we still got to put in work 😂 Regular hours tomorrow!

Today was a long day for sure and didn’t get the outcomes we came for but I’m proud of these kids! Moose went in there and wanted to challenge himself with a fighter that has 30 more fights than him and though he didn’t get the victory he held his own and got plenty of experience! Edwin was the last bout of the night and he fought his heart out but the ref decided to stop it , Edwin was still competing and could have continued but all we can do is respect the call. We have to learn and grow from here!! Congrats to their oppenents, we win humbly and we take the opposite humbly as well! Back to the lab on Monday!

Day 3 in the books! It was a long dayyyyyy! Julian didn’t get to compete due to the brackets not being correct and they put his oppenent in the wrong age group. He was ready to go and pumped to fight! Mizael went in there and fought his heart out!! He didn’t get the win but there were multiple people in the crowd not part of our group, who said he should have won. Thats how it goes sometimes! We only can control what we do in there, next time we just have to make it clear! Thanks to everyone who competed and represented our gym this weekend! I’m proud of all of you! We as a team as a coach and the fighters will learn from this and keep moving forward to the next one!

First day of the tournament in the books! Edwin came in and made weight but his opponent didn’t show, so he moves on to the championship bout tomorrow! Juan went in there today for his first bout against an opponent with a couple bouts. We took on the challenge and he went in there and put up a hell of fight! That’s all a coach can ask for , he showed heart and grit and couldn’t be more proud of him! We take this as a lesson and we move on to the next one! Tomorrow Edwin and Jayden get to lace em up!

Mannnn, long day! These kids went in there and fought in their first sauna 😂! It was hot! Big Moose, Mac and Edwin all fought hard today! We ended the day 2-1! Big Moose and Edwin got their wins and Mac fought his heart out all three rounds. We learn with every experience! We appreciate the for coming out and showing out for the kids! It’s just getting bigger and bigger and we appreciate the support! We are on to the next one and getting back to work Monday to continue to get the kids ready for the tournament.
