We are incredibly grateful and honored that Michael A. Ries Rink has been selected as the first facility to be part of University Hospitals and the Cleveland Monsters Rink Refresh Project.
This opportunity means so much to the Parma Hockey Association and to our entire community. Our rink is more than just a sheet of ice, it’s a place where young athletes grow, friendships are formed, and lifelong lessons are learned. Youth hockey teaches discipline, teamwork, resilience, and confidence, all while creating a positive environment for kids to stay active and engaged.
The impact of this project will reach far beyond the boards. These renovations will enhance the experience for every skater who steps onto the ice, from beginners finding their footing to competitive players chasing their goals. It will also improve the environment for families, coaches, and fans who make our rink such a special place.
Most importantly, this investment is in our skaters, the heart of everything we do. Providing them with a refreshed, high-quality facility shows them that their passion matters and that their community is behind them every step of the way.
We are so excited to see what the summer brings and can’t wait to share the transformation with all of you. Thank you to University Hospitals and the Cleveland Monsters for believing in our rink and our players. The future is bright for Parma Hockey! 🏒
