After a season filled with hard work, dedication, and outstanding team performances, the Panthers have earned the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage of the year - the Division 2 State Finals!

We couldn't be more proud of what this team has accomplished. Now it's time to finish the season strong and represent Western with the same determination and confidence that got them here.

The Western Panther Golf Team competed in the MHSAA Region 9 Regional Championship on Tuesday at The Coldwater Golf Course. With their season on the line, the Panthers showed up in a big way firing a team score of 307! That score secured a second place finish to Vicksburg (305) and punched their ticket to the MHSAA D2 State Finals at the Meadows at Grand Valley State University.

Taking home medalist honors and leading Western was Bentley C**n, who shot an impressive 4 under (68). Following C**n was Andrew Boldt who fired a two over par (74), good enough for a 4th place finish overall. Rounding out scoring for the Panthers was Tony Miller (81), Bailee Porter (84), and Charlie Stevens (87). Western will have some time off to sharpen their games before heading to Allendale, MI on June 5th and 6th for the State Finals. Best of luck, Panthers!

The Panthers are headed to the Regional Tournament with one goal in mind: earn a spot at the State Finals. ⛳️

This group has put in the work all season long, competing with consistency, determination, and team-first mentality. Now, they’ll take the next step against some of the top teams in the region for a chance to continue their postseason run.

The Western Panthers played host for the first time this year, welcoming 12 schools from around the area to compete in the annual Western Invite at Arbor Hills on Monday. The Panthers took care of their home course advantage by firing a season low score of 302, besting second place Marshall by 13 shots! All 12 of the Western players had the opportunity to compete in this home event in front of friends and family. Here is how the scoring looked for the day:

Western is back in action on Thursday for a Match Play event against Marshall at The Coldwater Golf Course, which is great practice before next week's ever important regional tournament at the same site. Good luck, Panthers!

Tomorrow is a big day for Western Golf as both Varsity and JV are in action at the Western Invite at Arbor Hills Golf Club. ⛳️

With a large group of Panthers hitting the course, it's another great opportunity to compete, gain experience, and continue building the future of our program.

Fresh off capturing the I-8 Conference Championship, the Panthers are back on the road—making the trip from Battle Creek to Allendale for another big tournament tomorrow morning. ⛳

The lineup is set, and this group is ready to build on today’s momentum.

Congratulations on the conference title, and best of luck as you tee it up again tomorrow. LET'S GO!!!

The Western Panthers traveled to Cedar Creek Golf Course in Battle Creek to compete in the I8 Championship. Once again, the weather was not ideal for scoring with the temperature feeling like upper 30s and winds gusting at 30 mph at times. The boys battled all day and were able to come away with a 3rd place finish with a team score of (308) behind Northwest (298) and Marshall (304). Western only needed to finish 3rd place or better to secure their first ever I8 Championship, and that is exactly what they did! 💪🏼

The Panthers were led by Andrew Boldt, who came within one shot of tying for medalist honors with a great score of 3 under (69). Following close behind Boldt was Benltey C**n, who also fired a great score of 2 under (70). Rounding out the scoring was Tony Miller (83), Charlie Stevens (86), Derek Vickers (87), and Bailee Porter (87). Western will play on short rest as they head from Battle Creek to Allendale Wednesday night to compete in the C.E. Gleeson Constructions Invite at GVSU on Thursday.
