Only 49 days until the FBA 2026 Championship Event (Panama in Fall BBQ Brawl).

We would like to thank the 11 teams that have signed up so far and thrown down a challenge to the rest of the teams to sign up this week.

To successfully host an event, the promoters need to know how many FBA reps to have, how many judges to have, know how many and order the pork butts for peoples choice, sign contracts for porta potties and very expensive generators, know the sizes and how many shirts to order, order trophies, and a slew of other items. It is impossible to do when teams wait until the last second to sign up.

This is your State Championship Event, please sign up ASAP so we can ensure it is a huge success. Offering some of the highest payouts and located on the World’s Most Beautiful Beach. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Folks, we are 65 days away from the 2026 Florida Barbecue Association’s State Championship Event and there are only 9 teams registered to compete.

You read that correct. 9 teams for the State Championship Event. We NEED the competition teams to get registered ASAP. Any event promotor will tell you it is impossible to plan all the logistics of making an event successful if they have no idea how many teams are coming and you have a lot of last minute entries.

Please help us make sure the event is successful for us and more importantly successful for all the teams competing. Sign up today.

New this year is a small $20 fee if you need power on Thursday and $20 fee if you need power Saturday night after the competition ends.
**Please Note** in the summary section when you go to pay you DO NOT have to pay the optional fee. This fee goes to Zeffy and not the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center. Tap the drop down and select other and then type in zero or leave blank.
