The heat has been tough, and the rain may have slowed us down—but it’s time to get the momentum rolling again!

Open Play means more touches, more creativity, more confidence, and more time enjoying the game with teammates. Let’s fill the fields tonight!

A uniform should do more than tell people who you play for. It should say something about where you come from and what you represent.

This year’s St. Andrews kits tell our story.

The white reflects the sugar-white sand of Bay County. The gray carries the look of a Gulf Coast sky before the weather turns. The black represents the toughness and resilience of the players who wear it. And the pink—bold, unmistakable and completely our own—echoes the color of a sunset over St. Andrews Bay.

Along each side, the flowing lines resemble the movement of wind and water along our coast. Inside them, individual fleurs-de-lis come together to form one continuous pattern—just as individual players, each with different strengths and personalities, come together to become one team.

The crest sits over the heart because representing St. Andrews means something. It means playing for your teammates, your families and the community that helped build this club.

We wanted uniforms that looked different because we are building something different: a local, development-first club where players are challenged to compete, encouraged to grow and proud of where they come from.

A huge thank-you to Southern Orthopedic Specialists and Dr. J. Ryan Cotton for investing in our players and helping bring these kits to life.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to recent weather over the past couple of days we will not be hosting Open Play tonight. In an effort to preserve the quality of the field, and with additional rain in the forecast over the next few hours we regrettably will have to wait until next week for open play. 😢 With this said we can’t stop you from playing soccer on your own 😁

We’re excited to partner with SkillShark and take another major step toward our development-first mission!

Every St. Andrew’s player will receive at least eight evaluations each year, complete with progress tracking, Individual Development Plans, and player “report cards” delivered directly to parents.

It’s easy to say development matters. We’re building a system to measure it, communicate it, and create an intentional path forward for every player.

Tonight marked the beginning of an adventure: the inaugural season of Future Saints and the start of Year 3 of Lil Saints! 🩷⚽️

Future Saints is 20 three-, four- and five-year-olds discovering soccer for the first time—which is every bit as calm and organized as that sounds. 😂 Our goal isn’t to create tiny professional soccer players overnight. We want them to become completely fascinated with the game—the same way a little girl sees Elsa and immediately decides Frozen is now her entire life. We want that exact energy…just with soccer balls.

Meanwhile, Lil Saints has grown to more than 30 players this fall! What began two years ago as a small idea has become a legitimate little soccer community full of different personalities, experience levels and approximately 47 different interpretations of what “freeze” means.

Of course, while successfully managing 50+ children, soccer balls, water bottles, equipment and total chaos, not one adult thought to take a picture. Honestly, an impressive group failure. 🤦‍♂️😂

⚽ Introducing Wednesday Tekkers at St. Andrew’s!

Beginning Wednesday, August 19, Shae Dyer will lead a free one-hour session devoted entirely to juggling, ball mastery, creative touches, and helping players become more confident with the ball.

Players can attend at either:

🩷 4:00–5:00 p.m.
🩷 6:00–7:00 p.m.

At St. Andrew’s, development means more than holding two team practices each week. It means creating different pathways for different players—meeting each child where they are while giving those who want more opportunities to keep growing.

Wednesday Tekkers is another piece of that mission.

A beginner working toward three consecutive touches belongs here. So does the advanced player ready for new techniques, combinations, and challenges. We are also developing a reward system that will celebrate individual milestones and encourage players to keep working at home.

The ball will drop. That is part of it. Pick it up, try again, and watch what happens when those small efforts begin to add up.

Because nobody begins with 100.

Everyone begins with one. 🩷
