Well here it is! We are skipping our State race to try our hand at Sprint kart racing. Emily has been given this amazing opportunity thanks to Martin Racing and the Herzog family. We will be testing all day today in preparation for the big race Saturday evening under the lights. Wish us luck!

We would like to wish all of our friends good luck this weekend as they load up and make the trip to Full Throttle Speedway. We will not be attending this race, as we have something in the works. Stay tuned to see what we might be up to.

Last weekend, Emily was lucky enough to have her great-grandmother as well as both of her grandparents come watch her race. Unfortunately, we were still fighting a stuck throttle. Fortunately, Dad was able to find the reason it was hanging and fix it right before the heat races. With that issue out of the way, Emily was able to pull off a win in the first heat, a second in the second heat, and ultimately the win in the feature race. The races at Hobesound continue to get bigger and better with some of the top talent in the game showing up and showing out. If you haven't been to a race or it's been a while since you've been out, you need to make the trip. I promise it will not disappoint.

Raceday is tomorrow! We made some changes and hopefully hunted down the reason for a sticking throttle. Huge thank you to Radical Race Engines for sending us another carburetor should that be the issue, and Lou for coming by and helping find the possible issue. We will find out tomorrow if it's fixed or.... 🫣
