Cross-training on the sand builds skills that directly transfer to your indoor game:

PIF's flexible schedule makes it easy to balance both. Come to 1, 2, or all 3 weekly practices — Tue/Thu for all ages, Sun for high schoolers. Late arrivals are always okay.

Play It Forward was born from a simple idea: give back what you've been given. 🏐

Founders Michael and Kelsey Sylvara built PIF on that exact principle — sharing not just their coaching credentials, but their real experiences as athletes, educators, and people of faith. Michael wrote "pay it forward" in his 2015 goals. Kelsey stepped away from a burnout-inducing and non-supportive indoor volleyball environment and channeled decades of coaching into something better. Together, they created a nonprofit built on one rule: treat every athlete the way you want to be treated.

Here's why: Most middle and high schoolers will be deep in their indoor volleyball season right now. That means your 5th or 6th grader gets more court time, more personalized coaching attention, and more room to grow — without competing with the older crowd for reps.

At Play It Forward, players are grouped by skill level, not age. So your athlete trains at the right pace, builds confidence, and develops real beach volleyball skills under Coach Michael and Coach Kelsey's science-backed system.
