After hearing Jacobs' explanation, what did YOU think the celebration meant when you first saw it?
After scoring against Carolina, Jacobs briefly put his hands behind his back—a moment some viewers believed was referencing his recent legal situation.
Jacobs says that's not what the celebration meant.
He explained that he and teammates had planned a celebration inspired by the gospel song “Break Every Chain,” saying the television broadcast only showed part of it.
Jacobs acknowledged how it could have been interpreted differently: “I didn’t think it was going to be a thing that can be perceived a certain type of way.”
