PERSONAL TRAINER / STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH 💪🏼
We're looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate Personal Trainer or Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our growing sports performance team.
ℹ️ About Us
We are a sports training facility located in the heart of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. LOZ Sports Training is dedicated to developing youth athletes and active adults through expert coaching, strength training, and performance-based programming. We work with youth athletes ages 8+, high school and collegiate athletes, as well as adults pursuing their health and fitness goals.
✅ Responsibilities
• Lead 1:1 and small group strength and conditioning sessions
•Design and implement age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs
•Coach youth athletes in proper movement mechanics, speed, agility, strength, and injury prevention
•Train adult clients with a variety of fitness goals including improving strength, weight loss, balance, and general wellness
• Maintain a safe, positive, and motivating training environment
• Perform new client assessments, track client progress, and communicate effectively with clients and parents
• Assist with facility events, camps, clinics, and performance testing as needed
📚 Qualifications
• Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, or equivalent required)
•CPR/AED Certification (or willing to obtain)
• Experience working with youth athletes and/or adult fitness clients
• Knowledge of strength training, movement assessments, and evidence-based athletic development programming
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented attitude
⭐️ Preferred Qualifications
• CSCS certification
• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
• Experience coaching baseball, softball, or other youth sports
• Experience leading group training sessions
