We are thrilled to announce the new coach of Wisconsin Polo: Cassandra “Cassie” Marcola.
Cassie brings an intercollegiate background, having played at Michigan State during her undergraduate years, where she earned a spot on the starting varsity team that led MSU to its first Nationals appearance.
After graduating, she pursued her graduate degree at UW–Madison and began volunteering with the team. We are excited to welcome her experience, guidance, and grit to our team.

CONGRATULATIONS to our graduate: Arwen Lyons! She will be graduating with a triple major in legal studies, history, and political science after completing her dual honors thesis in history and legal studies. This summer she will be working at a dude ranch in Wyoming before applying to law school for environmental law in the fall!

What a year! Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We can’t do it without you!
Some highlights:
- This year our varsity women’s went from Wisconsin to Michigan to Texas & Virginia
- The first mens varsity team in the history of UW was founded
- Our JV girls headed up to northern Wisconsin to play Hillside Polo Club
- We had one of our largest club groups so far!
But it doesn’t stop there!
This summer we have NINE of our badger athletes playing over the summer at the following clubs:

🌟 Denver polo club in Denver, CO
