Congrats to Senior Dayton Sterling on being selected to the 18-4A All-District team. He turned into a dominant force this season and was very deserving of this honor. Congratulations Dayton! Proud of you!

It’s Senior Night at the Grove tonight! Come help us honor our two senior players and 2 senior managers that have given so much to our program! Seniors, Rylan Pelt, Dayton Sterling, Dinah Tippins and Tor’Shanti McDaniel will be honored between the JV and Varsity games with the Varsity game slotted to start at about 7pm. Hope to see you there!

Great season by our youth program. Thanks to all who participated. It was fun to be a part of. Looking forward to seeing our All-star groups play!

Today concluded our 2025/2026 Season. We’d like to give a huge thanks to so many people who help continue to grow our league.

To all the coaches, parents, volunteers, referees, our league wouldn’t be possible without you!
Thanks for every kid who chose to give the game of basketball a go this year. Hope to see you back next year.

Thanks to all the school employees for the time and effort they put in this season. They were pleasure to work with this season.

Special thanks to our great school district who allows us to use their facilities and resources to give the kids of the community a safe, positive environment to play.

This season we were able to purchase all 300+ kids in the league a new basketball. Hopefully, they get some good use this offseason. This was made possible with help from our League Sponsor Camden Cooper-Farmers Insurance.

Tonight is Teacher Appreciation Night and it’s also Youth Basketball Night! LCM Youth basketball players wear your jersey to the game and get in free! See you there! Teachers will be honored between the Freshman and JV games at approximately 5:30-5:45 pm.

Spring is a busy season for LCM Athletics! With so many athletes competing, some weeks we may honor up to two male Athletes of the Week to better recognize the great things happening across our programs — and this is one of those weeks!

Congratulations to seniors Luke Scott and Dayton Sterling for being named the LCM Battlin’ Bears Athletes of the Week!
Luke competed in the Beaumont West Brook Tennis Tournament on Friday, earning 1st place in boys doubles and helping secure the victory alongside his partner.
In Friday’s matchup against West Orange-Stark, Dayton led the way with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and zero turnovers — a huge all-around effort for the Bears.
Way to go, Luke and Dayton!

Last night was School Board Appreciation Night at our game vs WOS. We are so thankful for the men and women on our school board and their support of LCM athletics.

The freshman got a big win over WOS to improve to 3-3 in district. The JV and Varsity came up short but we got better last night. In the Varsity game, the Bears fell 66-49. The 2 seniors led the way with Dayton Sterling scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds and Rylan Pelt had 10 points. The Bears are on the road Tuesday @ Vidor!
