Cardinal Classic Invitational 2026
Proud of these hardworking kiddos! Their commitment and work is starting to pay off with faster times than last week for Zayne and Hayden. Elizabeth, Parker, and Garon ran their first race of the season. We'll be back at it next Saturday in Nederland.

Congratulations to Garon Gomez, CCS Senior, on a fantastic weekend at the USTA Beaumont Labor Day Tennis Classic, held in memory of Allison Getz.

Garon came out strong on Saturday, winning both of his matches 8-5, 8-5 and advancing to Sunday's play.

On Sunday, Garon fought hard in his first match, coming up just short 6-8 in a tough battle. But he didn't let that loss define his day! He came back strong in the 3rd place playoff, dominaiting with and 8-2 victory!

We are so proud of the determination, perseverance, and heart Garon showed throughout the tournament.

Congratulations Garon on your 3rd place finish!

Congratulations to our Cross Country runners on their first meet of the season!

JV Boys High School Medalists:
Jacob Lacassin- 3rd Place
Hayden George- 10th Place

Elementary Medalists:
Gracelynn Vanderburg- 1st place Girls Kids' 1 mile
Eli George- 5th place Kids' 1 mile
Andi George- 1st place girl Kids' 1/2 mile

There were a lot of firsts today! Faith, Waylon, and Zayne all ran their very 1st Junior High cross country race. They ran well and ran smart finishing the 2nd half of their races faster than their first.

Jacob Laccassin finished an impressive 3rd place in the JV Boys 5K in his first ever cross country race!

Hayden George medaled for the first time in the Rick Miller Invitational. He sprinted to the finish to secure 10th place.
