Our first .22 rifle competition is in the books. We had 10 competitors, some expert help, some really good shooters and some not so great. I was happy to finish in the top 10........LOL
We all had a lot of fun. Thanks to members Jason Fisher & Warren Gabrilska for doing all the work to get this started, Warren & Connie Gabrilska for being patient Rangemasters & Clark Gabrilska for helping me get sighted in.

Hopefully, we get a few more for the July 11 competition. Everyone is welcome - members & non-members, experienced shooters & beginners. You don't even have to own a .22 - there are some there you can use.

For safety reasons - The rifle & pistol range will be closed until noon or until the .22 Shooting Competition is concluded.

You are welcome to participate - if you don't have a .22, there will be some to use and ammo is available for purchase.

Another awesome catfish!

Well we have a second two hand grip on a monster catfish from our Wolves Summer Slam Tournament using the FishDonkey App!

And a new big catfish leader!!

A day after Brayden landed his 37', Skye Sarnowski hoisted up this 37.5"!! Again I'll caption with Me-WOW!! 😹🎣

Wow! Big flathead!

Make that a catfish upgrade and another heavy hoist for Brayden Christman in our Wolves Summer Slam Tournament! Brayden bested his 37.5" monster cat from just a few days ago with this 40" beast!

Weight lifting doesn't just happen in the gym I guess!! 💪💪🎣🎣

Big pike alert! Graduating Senior Noah Jaeger with a beautiful 36" Northern Pike to take the lead in that category in our Wolves Summer Slam Tournament!

Love how many of our kids are out fishing all the time!! Impressive fish keep hitting the leaderboard every week!

I shot the TX star this evening - that was fun. I sighted in my dad's old 30-30 and gave it a whirl. Once you drop the 1st plate it starts rotating. Drop the 2nd and it really moves. Timing is everything. It took 7 shots to drop all 5 plates. Get out and try it!!

A 3rd grade field trip to learn how to fish! That's fantastic!!

Third graders learn expert fishing tips

With white bass and walleye running in Winneconne, third graders last week
learned about fishing with information from Learn 2 Fish With Us and the Winneconne High School Fishing Team. Winneconne’s fourth annual Third
Grade Fishing Day was Thursday with a full day of fishing-related activities. Nearly
130 third graders participated in the event.

Morning session featured team introductions and an educational fishing seminar from Greg Karch of Learn 2 Fish With Us. During the seminar, Karch shared the
skills and equipment needed to begin fishing. Students also rotated through three
stations to learn about fish identification, knot tying and casting.
