🦷❤️ Another dental team ready to respond!

We had a great time bringing BLS training directly to the office and spending time with this awesome team!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is taking training beyond our classroom and directly into the businesses and organizations that make up our community. When an entire team learns, practices, and prepares together, they’re not just earning certifications; they’re creating a safer environment for their patients, coworkers, and everyone they serve.

Every team we train enables more people in our community to recognize an emergency, step in, and make a difference when seconds matter.

At New View Training, we believe supporting our community goes far beyond the walls of our classroom. It means recognizing and supporting the organizations that are doing meaningful work every single day.

Supporting local organizations means supporting the people they serve and helping build a stronger, healthier community for everyone. We are incredibly grateful for organizations like Spirit Horse Ranch and the people who dedicate themselves to helping others heal, grow, and find strength.

Mental health matters. Access to support matters. And the organizations providing safe spaces, resources, connection, and hope deserve a community standing behind them.

Safety Tip Tuesday, !

Tuesday, August 25, marked the start of Nebraska Drug Overdose and Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Week. As we work to stop overdoses in Nebraska and all over the country, we want to highlight the importance of Narcan (naloxone) and how to recognize an overdose.

To help spread awareness, the first 5 people who like and share this post will receive an Overdose Response Kit that includes Narcan, gloves, and a pocket mask!

Using Narcan is simple. All you have to do is insert the nozzle into the nostril and push up on the plunger. Narcan typically works extremely quickly. However, in some cases, multiple doses are required. If there is no change in responsiveness or breathing after 2-3 minutes, give another dose. Narcan has no negative side effects if given when there's not an overdose occuring.
The signs and symptoms of an overdose include:
- Abnormal breaths or loss of breathing
- Irregular, faint, or no pulse
- Pinpoint pupils
- Loss of conciousness/sluggish response
- No reaction to painful stimulus
