Let’s build the foundations first 🙂↕️
Start with only tracking protein. Aim to get 100 grams to start. Protein is the only thing that can get into the muscle you’re working and repair it.
Did you know your body actually burns more calories when trying to digesting protein 🤯
Lifting heavy weights for women reduces risk for osteoporosis, improves brain health, and reduces a load of diseases…. I could go on.
If you’re only doing Pilates, it’s time to start lifting some heavy sh*t
Sleep studies have only been done on men. Women need more sleep. Work on your sleep hygiene 😴
No screens, no fluorescent lighting, stop eating 2hrs before bed…. Create a routine you look forward to.
Don’t count calories. Focus on nutrient dense food. They supply fiber, minerals, and vitamins that our body absorbs differently. Not all energy is handled the same, so not all calories are handled the same.
Rather than moving for the wrong reasons, move for longevity. Move for your independence, functionality, & mobility.
& if you don’t know what you should be doing, work with trainers who do 🙋🏼♀️
Just because you’re working on your health, doesn’t mean you have to put life on hold. There’s no sacrifice when it comes to health, there’s only adding, and making change that lasts.
Stop chasing a quick fix. Let’s make health feel do able again, enough of the complicated bs 🥱
